Kaushal Bodh workshop@ SVVN

Kaushal Bodh workshop was conducted on 15th May 2026.

with the objective of orienting teachers towards the effective implementation of Kaushal Bodh in par with CBSE guidelines and the vision of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

It aimed at Mandatory implementation of Skill education from Classes VI- VIII

Key Features :
  • 1. From class VI it should be incorporated as a part of their School Timetable
  • 2. Hands on Project
  • 3. Integration with AI
  • The sessions offered detailed insights into the three life forms of Kaushal Bodh

  • 1. Life Forms – eg Kitchen garden
  • 2. Machines and Materials – eg Tools which lead to Tangible outputs , Embroidery
  • 3. Human Services –eg Community and Health The workshop also focused on project-based learning, providing clarity on the number of projects to be undertaken during the academic year and methods for planning interdisciplinary activities.

  • Kaushal means skill and Bodh is awareness of skills
  • It’s an initiative to integrate vocational education and practical life skills into mainstream schooling, aligning with India's National Education Policy (NEP) 2020
  • Emphasis was placed on ensuring meaningful student participation and real-world skill integration along with their subjects learning.
  • Skill labs should be initiated and existing labs of school can be utilised in integrating the skill.
  • SDG goals to be implemented in planning Kaushal Bodh activities.

  • Workshop on Concept Learning to concept development

    SVVN conducted a Workshop on Concept Learning to concept development on 8-5-2026.Organised by Orient Black swan Press.

    All the teachers of the school participated in the session.

    The workshop focused on using hands-on activities, games, and visual aids to understand the learning process effectively.

    The session provided an enriching professional learning experience to all teachers.

    Democracy in Action: Students' Union Election@SVVN.

    The Students' Union Election was conducted at SVVN school with great enthusiasm and a spirit of democracy. Students of 8th 9th and 10th classes actively participated in the election process by casting their votes responsibly.

    The election contesting candidates involved in assembly and classroom campaign for three days. Candidates introduced themselves and presented their plans for the welfare of students. On the occasion of the election day, Voting was conducted in an orderly manner under the supervision of social science department teachers, ensuring fairness and transparency. After the counting of votes, the elected office bearers were announced. The Principal and the admin congratulated the winners and encouraged them to carry out their responsibilities sincerely. The elected representatives expressed their gratitude to the students for their support and promised to work for the betterment of the school community. The Students' Union Election provided students with valuable experience in democratic practices and leadership.

    World Environment Day Celebration

    World Environment Day was celebrated in our school on 5th June with great enthusiasm and awareness. The program began with a special assembly highlighting the importance of protecting our environment. Students delivered speeche on environmental conservation. A tree plantation drive was organized within the school premises, and students actively participated by planting saplings. Teachers encouraged students to adopt eco-friendly habits such as reducing plastic use, conserving water, and keeping the surroundings clean. The celebration helped create awareness among students about their responsibility towards nature and inspired them to contribute to a greener and healthier planet.

    Parents' Orientation Programme

    A Parents' Orientation Programme was conducted at the school to welcome parents and familiarize them with the academic plans, school policies, and activities for the new academic year. The programme aimed to strengthen the partnership between parents and the school in supporting students' growth and development.

    The Principal and the admin addressed the gathering and highlighted the school's vision, expectations, and various initiatives planned for the year. Introduced the curriculum, assessment methods, and classroom procedures. Parents were also informed about school rules, attendance, co-curricular activities, and communication channels.

    The discipline committee of the school created the awareness about the social medias, advantages and disadvantages. The session provided an opportunity for parents to interact with the teachers and clarify their queries. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks.
